Fit
B-04 RELAXED TAPERED is a relaxed fitting jean with a longer back rise, roomy thighs, and tapered legs. It has a tilted top block, which means there’s bigger than average difference between front and back rise. This allows for the jeans to sit comfortably on the hips, creating a relaxed and contemporary look and feel. The curved waistband makes sure the back rise fits nicely at the lower back, leaving no gap, while the front rise sits a bit lower than the natural waistline. The legs have a slight taper, but with a larger bottom hem opening than B-01 and B-03, resulting in an overall wider cut.
B-04 RELAXED TAPERED is the European equivalent of the ‘made in Japan’ BDD-710N (with some differences).
Fabric
14 oz. selvedge colour denim is a special program that involves a classic denim construction, available in various colours, that are different from the usual dark indigo tones. This Japanese right hand twill construction has an uneven structure which provides depth to the surface of the fabric. The weft of the fabric is undyed, just like regular denim. This version also has an ecru warp, leaving the fabric completely undyed. The garments have been pre-washed in the factory for easy wear comfort and each colour has matching tonal stitching, as well as a colour-themed jacron patch, to accompany the fabric. 14 oz. selvedge colour denim is woven by Collect Mills in Kojima, Japan, and is one of our core fabrics in the ‘European made’ line.
